Our Plants

We market more than 4 million plants annually from our 820-acre growing operations, delivering to over 1,800 customers in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic states.

SHRUBS

We offer a large selection of hardy, easy to care for shrubs, perfect for shade or woodland gardens.

FLOWERING SHRUBS

Add color to your garden in both summer and fall with our large variety of twice-blooming shrubs... the Echo® Blooms collection.

PERENNIALS

With their extensive root systems that can drive away weeds, and their long life spans, perennials are a great addition to any garden.

EVERGREENS

Evergreens provide your garden with high quality, hardy, smaller trees and shrubs that are green all year long.

VINES

Vines add vertical height to the garden. Blooms flow year round and evergreen foliage adds interest through the winter months.

EDIBLES

Enjoy luscious fruit in early summer, and lovely foliage in winter. Edibles work well in a small garden, container, or as a shrub border.

Sustainability

McCorkle Nurseries is committed to continual growth in producing and marketing quality plants while protecting and improving the environment.

Water

The majority of water used for irrigation is reclaimed into 17 ponds where it is then filtered and treated. Our multiple pumping systems help support our irrigation requirements.

Integrated Pest Management

We are committed to producing the highest quality plants while continuing to be stewards of our environment. Our Integrated Pest Management program monitors total plant health by limiting the use of chemicals to control pests, weeds, and other issues.

Innovation

We employ several robots that tirelessly adjust plants to the proper distance from each other for optimal growing conditions. They autonomously carry out their jobs, allowing our human employees to focus on more important plant care.
