1942 | C.S. and Avice McCorkle began their family business
A one-stop retail, landscape, and growing operation in the developing community around Augusta, Georgia is formed
The late 1950's
The founder’s sons, Don and Jack, join the family business
1977 | Expanding the business
The 5-acre plant farm and landscape company is expanded and the retail operation is sold
1997 | Three of C.S. and Avice's grandchildren are named vital members of the company
Don's son Skeeter becomes CEO, and daughter Beverly becomes assistant in the re-wholesale area, while Jack's son Chris becomes General Manager of MNI Dearing Operations
2007 | MNI Direct is formed
A division servicing the commercial and residential landscape industry in Georgia and the Carolinas
2022 | 80th Anniversary
A family company celebrates 80 years of growth from a 5-acre farm to an 820-acre operation
